I like that idea. I do know that I'm more likely to read things that come into my inbox in the mornings, and after that they get buried by other emails. I think I subscribe to too many. I know people who limit themselves to a small number, but for me this is like being in a reader's candy shop!
I started with posting on Wednesday. The weekend to think/start. And Tuesday to light a fire after blowing it off on Monday. Haven’t tried other days yet.

You’re over-thinking this. Just write and post when ready. The whole idea of Substack is to be free of rigid deadlines, IMHO.

I read emails AND I post almost every day. They're all fine to me!
I can't believe your productivity, Dan. It's impressive.
I’m now retired so….
The day doesn't matter...I keep them all until I CAN read them.
That's what I love to hear. Thanks for reading, Dana.

Fun to hear someone else's process. You're more organized than I am!
Haha. Not really. And I’m really loving this so far. Having a blow off day seems to help with the pressure.
It doesn't matter, I read based on the source, not the time or frequency.
